David Rich and Practicaps Portraits

This is the “People” arm of  Practicaps Photography and Imaging, formed in response to requests from the general public and referrals from our wedding clients (Practicaps Weddings).

As a Licentiate of the National Photographers Society (LNPS) and an accredited Member of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP),  Wedding  and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and the World Institute of Photographic Masters (WIPM), I take a lot of pleasure in being able to offer a more professional service than a shopping mall booth, and a more personal approach than a large portrait studio.

I don’t sub-contract portrait commissions, don’t hire wannabee and part-time photographers to take your precious photos, don’t pass off small corporate portraits or artists’ headshots to amateurs trying to make a few dollars on the week-end. Every picture is taken, edited and prepared by me personally and printed by professional print labs.

I hold a Diploma in Photography to complement graduate and post-graduate honours in Science and Social Science from UTS, UWS and UNE. My work has appeared in Australian and International  photography magazines, and  my original research has been published in peer-reviewed Social Research, Nursing and computer science journals.   I am the author the The Midas Manual of Dual Disorders for Health Professionals and the GROW Wisdom series, sales of which directly benefit the GROW Residential Rehabilitation center at Austral NSW.

My landscape, nature and Social photography is on permanent  display in a number of public buildings in Sydney.
